Medication non-adherence shows a significant challenge for individuals managing their healthcare. We have created a smart pill dispenser to help with medication adherence in order to solve this problem. This study covers the planning, implementation, and outcomes of our project. The system makes use of the ESP8266 board from NodeMCU v3, which provides WiFi connectivity and control over different components. The device’s interaction with an internet interface, which cables users to remotely adjust dosages, is a crucial feature. By maintaining a connection with a database, the device can specifically administer medications at the scheduled times. We have developed a dependable and affordable solution after thorough testing and research. Our results show the device’s efficacy in encouraging drug adherence, especially
for people with illnesses like Alzheimer’s. The user experience is improved overall by the user-friendly website interface. By providing a workable and practical answer to the issue of pharmaceutical non-adherence, this research makes an improvement in the field of healthcare technology.
