Engraving artistry is a popular artistic expression that has been used for many years. It is broadly defined as the technique of employing incised line to draw or write on any substance. Alternatively, there are machines that are used to this purpose instead of manual tools now. This research has been conducted to use a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) system to design an engraving machine. Laser engraving machine can be used to carve numerus pictures, images, pattern, letters or symbols on different materials. The system provides comprehensive information on the architecture and functionality of the machine, in addition to the etched figure. A DVD drive is connected to a laser and a surface stand through A4988 Motor Driver in which it controls the X and Y movement, and the whole devices controlled through Arduino Uno with the assistance of CNC shield to control voltage. Outcomes are dependent on real-time data transmission and visualization at the precise moment. This study is advantageous due to its user-friendly features, lightweight, and low cost.
