The context of this project is the growing demand for automation in household cleaning tasks. The overall objective of this project is to create a vacuum cleaner robot that can navigate, avoid obstacles, and effectively clean floors without human intervention. The problem addressed in this project is the limitations of current vacuum cleaners that require manual operation and are unable to effectively clean all areas of a room. To overcome these limitations, a method was developed that combines the use of an Arduino microcontroller, motors, sensors, and a dustbin. The method involves assembling the robot components, programming the Arduino to control the motors, sensors, and dustbin, and testing and debugging the system. The resulting vacuum cleaner robot can navigate rooms, avoid obstacles, and collect debris using suction.
